4Great Camera Bag, Questionable Laptop Bag
By Rowed2damascus
So, what does it fit? Well here is what I have in mine currently:

Camera Portion (this padded part is removable):
Nikon 80-200mm zoom lens
Tokina 12-24mm in Tamrac holster pouch
2x Wireless Flash Triggers
2x Wireless Flash Receivers
Wireless Camera Remote
SB-600 Flash
Foldable Flash Softbox
Nikon D70s w/ 24-75mm lens attached (the camera rests ontop of the Tamrac holster and padding which holds the wireless flash units)

Outside the Removable Camera Portion (but in the same bag compartment):
Lithium Battery Charger
Three Memory Cards
1x Lens Filter
Extra Lens Cap

With all of this, the bag is bulky. In fact, so much so that it bulges and I have yet to carry my MacBook in the Laptop Portion fearing that the bulging would harm the screen. The Laptop share is well padded with in regards to an inch of combined padding amid the laptop and the camera gear. However, the padding is not rigid, so it succumbs to bulging. I’m planning on buying a Tom Bihn Brain Cell for the laptop. It is made with exceedingly rigid padding. I would then carry out surgery on the bag, taking out the padding in the laptop percentage as the Brain Cell would provide all the shelter I would need and removing the extra padding would reduce weight and bulging. I’ll edit this post when I go through with the transformation.

Great things in regards to the bag:
1. Quick access zipper! No need to unbuckle the flap to get to the gear.
2. Extremely strong velcro on the flap.
3. Long buckle leashes allows me to sandwich a monopod in the flap (with a carabiner keeping the monopod in place)
4. Anti-theft internal flap. Inside the bag, there is a flap (probably made for semi-rain protection) that you may wrap over the top of your camera gear and tuck in on the sides. Thus, if an individual were to secretly unzip the Quick access zipper in an airport, and you had the flap tucked, they would just see a whole lot of nylon rip-stop material. It would be very difficult for them to get past that without you noticing.
5. Amazing shoulder strap with great grip. I have walked for two hours with this thing completely loaded, and while it caused a lot of back pain, I felt no need to switch shoulders. Other bags I have applied ended up digging into my shoulder. Not so with this well padded strap. Also the strap utilizes metal connecting parts, not plastic. So big plus.
6. Comfortable handle.
7. Lots of pockets and zippered portions. Many of them are very deep which could be a plus or a minus.

Not so great things:
1. Not sufficient space for safely carrying camera gear and laptop.
2. Camera Portion is not as customizable as I would have loved. But enough, that I like it.

Bottom Line:
While exceedingly utile and comfortable, this bag is not meant for a lot of gear or a long haul. Quick access, comfort, and modular design are huge pluses. The exuberant bulging negating the use of camera gear and laptop is a big minus. But, that may be fixed by adding a Tom Bihn Brain Cell.

5A terrific multi-use bag
By RonAnnArbor
I have to say right off the bat, I am a bag-addict…I search for the right bags, and have various of them because I find there is no single bag that fits all my needs all the time. This bag is similar, but what it does, it does actually well.

I use it for trips in which I need my dSLR and my laptop. as well as other travel items. I don’t use it as a day to day bag. I carry in it my NIkon D90 with 17-55 lens attached, a zoom lens, a rocket blower, and my Canon G9 and both camera chargers in the removable camera section. It’s huge sufficient to have even one more compartment if I want to throw in an extra lens, or other little item. I also pack in my Macbook Air. It all seems safe and cozy.

This is a bag designed for urban explorers, not outback explorers. It does what it says and it does so perfectly. It would not be suitable for someone who does a lot of physical action while carrying their gear along. You need something better padded for that. This is the PERFECT bag for your trip to Walt Disney World. It is totally unsuitable for a trip on a Pink Jeep tour in Sedona.

THere are so a heap of pockets they effortlessly swallow up your cellphone and charger, laptop charger, travel adapters, tickets, passports, magazines, paperback….and still not one thing feels to bulky, like other bags may do.

I have to confess that on assorted occasions, I have taken out the camera insert and employed it in a dissimilar backpack — but that’s what is great in regards to Tenba interchangeable parts!…

By comparison purposes, I have to state that Timbuk2 bags are my sheer bestloved when it comes to messenger bags — this Tenba bag has genuinely more usablity-factor than my beloved Timbuk2, even though it doesn’t look as cool.

HIghly commended bag for an individual who has to take everything with them. It proves that yes, you CAN take it with you.

5My new carry on bag – Laptop, valuables and camera
By Vic Vreeland
Woooooooooow saw this in a syndication shop, liked it over all the others they had for sale and ordered online – less expensive, ya know.

This bag is sssssssoooooo well made – Will replace my roll on carry on bag from Samsonite. The Samsonite bag weighed 13 lbs before I put anything in it and this one holds more than the Samsonite! Well padded compartments. There must be 20 compartments huge and small. Holds my laptop, charger, Canon HF10 and charger, GPS, valuables, and papers I normally take on cruise rather well. This bag has the best shoulder strap of any bag I have ever seen. Bottom is rubberized so if you put it down in wet area your stuff won’t get soaked.
This is it. Look no more!
