Best iPhone 4 Case
By Ari
I antecedently had a Speck case (which i got for free), but I hated it because it was a single piece and i couldn’t put my car auxiliary cable into it. I’ve always been loyal to hard plastic cases, and wanted something that provided splendid fall protection, while still preserving the headphone jack usability. My car auxiliary cable and headphones fit right into the case and it is actually easy to take the phone out of the case. I highly commend this case.

I went through three screen protectors using this case.
The case is so tight that the protectors bubble up on the sides and corners. While you may push them down for a while, they at long last stop sticking to the iPhone.
I thought it was possible that I was aligning the screen protector incorrectly–so I took it to the Apple store and had them utilise the screen protector and put the case on–same problem.
I even emailed the manufacturer, incase, and asked if any screen protector was compatible with the case. They replied, very coldly, that there were not and that any protector I had on the screen ought to be got rid of because the case was not designed to accommodate screen protectors.
I don’t recognise when it comes to any person else, but I expended sufficient cash on my iPhone to want to protect the phone AND the screen. And there are a great deal of cases out there that will let me do just that. I ended up with the Speck Geometric case, which was commended to me at the Apple store. So far so good!

Can’t get it off, ruins screen protectors
By Elsie Duhart
I upgraded to the iPhone 4 yesterday. Got this case at Best Buy, had the Apple store put the screen protector on. Got the case on, without delay it lifted one little edge of the $10 screen protector. By this morning, 1/4 of the screen protector was lifted. Tried to remove the case, the bottom came off fine. The top portion is next to inconceivable to remove. I’m scared I’ll harm the phone so I’ll be going back to get it got rid of and selling it out. Something I in truth don’t have time for, but I digress. It looks cool, feels cool, but forget using it w/screen protectors. See former review from TM…spot on.
Bottom line, look elsewhere.
2 days later:
Okay, so I took the iphone back to Best Buy. My salesperson told me the screen protector covers the whole screen and any like that will likely be lifted away by this case. She then sold me the Invisible Shield for iPhone 4:

and employed it. This shield is “for use with any iPhone 4 case” meaning it doesn’t go all the way to the edges of the screen, thereby permitting the Incase slider case to ease on without affecting the shield. This is normally a $7+ service for Best Buy to employ the screen protector but she took pity on me and no-charged the application. It was rather a process, a heap of kind of liquid was involved (that is included with the shield, along with a cloth and squeegee), the shield floating, in the long run necessitating to be squeegeed. It cost me $22.25 at Best Buy for the shield. I know, expensive, but it seems to be keeping up well and works well with this case. I blew $20 on two protectors that are useless to me, so actually expensive.
Bottom line, you can’t use this case with a normal shield, it’ll peel it away at the edges (unless you trim it yourself). Now that it is on with a compatible shield, I’ll upgrade the rating from 1-star to 4-star, caveat emptor. It looks good, feels good, slides in my pocket (vs. a rubbery one). It has the bottom piece that may be got rid of for charging in a stand. It is difficult to remove as others have said, the salesperson at BB had no problem, will have to be something in the technique.
